Plasma Gun Reload Brightness (light sensitivity)

The Plasma Gun is my favorite gun. I feel like Duke Nukem having to wear sunglasses to reload, all I need now is some bubble gum.

Joking aside, please dim this light during reload animation. I have resorted to venting the charge to limit my reloading. For those that have not tried this gun, the reload animation is long, the gun stays up for a few seconds.

Or better yet, can the animation turn the gun sideways to remove light from vision? its very distracting.

A different solution could allow players to change this color, via shop. Id happily spend 50k gold just to have a different shade of blue. See below screenshots. I have tried changing the lens flare, but nothing to note.

Is there a graphics option to dim this?

Just to add more context, the third person view shows the gun light fade during reload. The gun also seems out of vision of the player.

I understand these are 2 different systems, but for light sensitive players, I would much prefer the first person view to be dim during reload.
