Hello! I’m not sure this counts as a bug but I think it’s close enough. People are using a mod to change the Character Creation/Oskar Krall Re-Creation to include voice options that should not be possible to pick.
I’ll explain how it works so it can be fixed, since it’s quite jarring to see an Ogryn talk in a female Psyker voice. I also assume you can change other things here (Like gaining free Premium Cosmetics) but I did not experiment.

I would be happy if Fatshark would sanitize this issue so I no longer have to see jarring things like that!

Steps to Reproduce (Required):

  1. Mod the voice select menu in either Character Creation or Oskar Kralls Personality Purge option
  2. You can simply replace one of the options with another classes voices, or even add a new option
  3. There are no serverside sanity checks here, so it actually works and your Zealot now speaks like an Ogryn

Hi BigJimmy. As far as I know, we fixed this a while back, so it should no longer be possible to perform. However, this fix was not retroactive, which means anyone who had an incorrect voice and did not change it will yet retain the voice. Could this explain what you’ve experienced, or do you believe there is something new afoot?

it shouldn’t been fixed from the very begin, it was cool to have more customization with voice types across different characters. just like it was not really needed to fix shirtless @FatsharkAlan

in the end these things were just harmless.

honestly I had stopped using this mod before it got fixed because it like destroys the voice lines unless you want to spam a handful with another mod. you get very few responses and nothing for ult/blitz. it is sort of funny but the complete voice experience is better than a couple laughs.
