Its a nerf, I did the math ingame and unless you deliberately get hit (wich forces you to change most IB’s playstyles) Gromril only cracks about 17 times during a game wich puts the cooldown at 11.5 sec. But remember that that is only for late game so for about 70% of the match you are well above 13 sec wich is the current talent cooldown. so in total time the flat 13 sec cooldown on Gromril is better, even if it can become 5 sec (wich is totally broken) it never will if you’re not trying.
You sure you wanted to quote me? I don’t really see how that is a reply to me.
FT changes looks great. Eager to see how it plays. BH changes seem to change the playstyle a lot. Feeling a bit nervous about them.
what happened to kruber taal champion it became tag team
Yeah it’s literaly an upgrade and is very overpowered.
He certainly needed some, upgrade.
Huh, completely missed this part as the BBB started. Good to know. So all careers will be adressed in “due time”. I am happy as soon as phase 1 is finished, so we can stop the discussion about these careers and focus on the next patch.
I read in the Steam forum today that the developers had confirmed that BBB will go live early August. Is that correct? I can’t remember such a post but I might have missed it.
Is it though? You give up 15% DR for your team and yourself, and I don’t know if you’ve tested the effective range, but it’s pretty damn short (same as base aura range I think), and with DR being multiplicative now I’m not sure how it could be viewed as over powered. Meanwhile new Rock of the Reikland looks very enticing. Aura range that is big enough to practically be in effect most of the time, and lets your whole team hit 80% block cost reduction if built for.
I was meaning to talk about Tag Team, which is what replaced Taal’s Champion, right?
Yeah so was I, explaining why I don’t think it’s overpowered.
You don’t lose DR for yourself, give yourself and your teammate 10% power and a constant 50% damage reduction with no strings attached. All you gotta do is stay together. That’s absolutely insane. That’s half damage off.
I reread the description and I was wrong sorry, says your allies lose the aura effect (previously misread it and thought that applied to FK too).
Ok so you and whoever wants to hug you real close to get the benefits gain 10% power, and the non FK of the pair gains 50% damage reduction. In return the other two team members lose 15% DR each.
I mean maybe 50% is a bit much, but again with multiplicative DR I don’t think it’s a huge problem. The other two talents on that row look pretty competitive to me.
Firesword could take some AP combo, it’s cool really fun to play weapon with nice animations but just sucks because it does nothing to Chaos Warriors, in case I missed something.
Maybe adding AP to light attack following heavy2 would be solution, so one could do heavy2-light-heavy2-light chain. Or switch the order of heavy attacks.
Now I think it’s like, do heavy2, do light, that does nothing and then another heavy2 (timing this is also not super easy on top of how ineffective it is), or just spam lights like idiot and hope for crits. Please correct me someone if there is better way to attack Chaos Warriors (didn’t really play this in past because of how bad it was)
That might be what the description says, but I’m almost sure you lose the DR for yourself as well. At least, you lose the aura buff icon…
Well, since firedots can now affect Chaos Warriors, I’d say the firesword is in a good enough spot. You can’t insta-delete them, and you will undeniably be inferior against them compared to other classes, but you can definitely wear them down through attrition and remain fairly safe while doing so due to the great stagger it dishes out.
What saltzpyre career will ever use the repeater pistol with these changes?
Since crit reset is gone, the RP is dumpster tier even on BH, with BoP a close second. What’s the idea here?
Huh? BH has always taken prize bounty and Hunter with Rep Pistol. The only difference is now the alt fire is very strong at dense groups of infantry.
I think its quite sad that the majority of the comments here are mentioning the very very slight attack speed reduction to the executioner sword, the weapon is still perfectly fine and still could be considered top tier and was very deserving this. Im surprised it didnt get hit harder. All of other kruber’s weapons are significantly more fun to play with with more interesting swing patterns so I think its time for some people to branch out to other weapons instead of trying to get the change reverted by complaining.
Is the sword doing some significant dot dmg ? It doesn’t seem to be much. My main problem is that there isn’t even combo to do, I have to completely waste some attack light/heavy to get AP attack again.
Compared to other weapons that now got buffed, the flamesword sucked and still sucks.
I don’t understand why, the weapon most certainly had and still have very low pick rate.
I can take buffed mace and it’s much better in all aspects, or crowbar same thing, or oh my, flail… the Sienna’s “exec”, not sure about dagger, but you get the point. Then I take Flamesword and… it sucks, nobody needs pure “horde weapon”. What am I doing with Chaos Pat ? Nothing, I just scream and run around or as Tobi suggested, mash light attacks and pray for crits on Pyro.
WHAT?
