Ogryn’s heavyweight talent description can work on Plague Ogryns, but it doesn’t actually work.
This talent does not increase the damage against Plague Ogryn, nor does it decrease the damage you take from Plague Ogryn.
This is a very old bug, it has been around since the game’s release, and until now, the description of this talent has not changed, and its effect has always been the same.

Damage can be observed by mods or other means, and you can also observe whether you have taken different damage.
