When I had the Vet tree described to me in vague terms, I thought the center line of the tree, the VoC especially, would reflect the Vet’s leadership and experience, and benefit the team in some relatively subtle way. That sounded intriguing. Instead, it’s monster-stagger and conditional invulnerability. That’s not the voice of command, it’s a super power. (Yes, WH40K is over the top, but it’s not a four color comic book. )
Those unfortunates who’ve become addicted to VoC might require more than the methadone of a reduced-effect or longer cooldown to get over the craving for a quick fix of gold toughness. How about rethinking both abilities?
Let the Ogryn shout so loud he staggers everything, then draws aggro. He’s got lungs big enough to stuff a small child in each. Let him really use 'em!
The Vet’s Command could give the Vet some immediate bonus - toughness, likely. Or a free reload? - but primarily benefit the team. Depending on the nodes, it might free/revive, grant ammo, toughness, or whatever. Let it be spammable, but balanced toward the Vet helping the team fight rather than letting the Vet play Emperor 15 seconds at a time.
Increasing 30 Seconds to 300 Seconds would FORCE Players to use CDR in order to get literally anything out of VoC. Aren’t we trying to STOP Players from relying so much on CDR? Your argument’s eating itself.
honestly bardin’s taunt is really only good as a stagger button the taunt will only be good if it buffs the team i think some toughness regen would be a great improvement.
What are you on about? They are literally one if not the most similar ults in the game. You could only make this extensive comparison with the 2 stealth ults, and that’s it.
Shout, support ult, circle around player, stagger with buff. And the one from the giant guy is severely underperforming in comparison, it’s that simple.
