Thanks for getting weave progression working again, it’s appreciated.
But that patch has caused the witch hunter captain amulet in the athanor to crash the game in the offline mode on Xbox.
All other classes are functional.
All online classes are functional.
Every time I try to access amulet for WHC it hard crashes to Xbox home.
Steps to Reproduce (Required):
Start game in offline.
Select WHC
go to athanor
Try to open amulet,
Restart game
Do you only play in Offline mode? or do you also have progress in Online mode?
It may be that your local save data has become corrupted; however deleting your local save data will cause all Offline mode progression to be lost. Online mode progress is stored safely on our servers, and can be moved back to Offline mode.
I play offline as an independent entity.
Actually i try to on both of my xbox’s, so i run two different progression this way.
However if i dont remember to turn off my network connection on my old xbox before i fire up vermintide it will automatically sync with the data stored on your servers when i get to the main menu section, thus it over writes a very different data set.
And ive lost a LOT of files to this.
Ive also lost a lot of files to the data clearing that you are suggesting…pretty well every second expansion/update you guys perform this is always the suggestion, which turns out to be unnecessary most of the time.
On march 5th you addressed the athanor amulet causing game to crash when accessed for bounty hunter, i did not need to delete my offline file. This is an identical glitch for the Witch Hunter Captain.
You guys made a small code correction. This appears to be very much the same.
Gotcha! I would only recommend this to Online mode players; and it’s a last resort for Offline mode players. I appreciate that no one wants to lose their progression for a bug/error!
I remember the Bounty Hunter issue from before and I’ll speak with our backend developers and see if they can implement a similar fix for Witch Hunter Captain. Thank you!
Offline mode should have all the same game modes as online, just sever the multiplayer connections.
Weeklys data could easily be transfered at the main menu. And twitch, its obviosly still transferring data during gameplay. And theres no reason seasonal events are bypaseed.
Those changes tgat were made several years ago when mixer collapsed were pretty lame.
