Will setting “nv_framerate_cap” to a value not available in the options menu cause issues?

there’s 30, 40, 60 ,72, 90, and 120.

I want to use 75

If it wont cause issues a slider or box to enter the value manually will be better.

Hi @Gu1k,

You should be able to manually set a value in your user_settings.config file, which shouldn’t cause any issue.

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Darktide
  4. Locate the user_settings.config in this directory
  5. Open your user_settings.config and find the setting ‘nv_framerate_cap’
  6. Adjust the value to ‘75’
  7. Save the file and launch Darktide as normal

If you have any issue, please check your user_settings.config file isn’t set as ‘Read-only’, as this would prevent the change from saving correctly.
