I’m glad the kick system changed, but it seems that the new one is not working.
I’ve had at least two teammates intentionally wake up a demonhost since the change.
The first of them did it twice during a single game.
I didn’t dwell on the seemingly failed vote kick the first time the host was triggered, but the second time another of my teammates said it’s not working. When someone else initiated the vote it seemed like my vote didn’t go through either. As if my function key press for yes was not registered at all.
Needless to say, I wasn’t surprised when the second player later on was not kicked either.
Please verify, and in case it really is broken, fix it.
During the past few days, while plying with two buddies, we had two cases of kicking the 4th player.
The vote kick function worked fine (all three of us voted yes).
Although it is a bit strange that the “press x for yes; Press y for no” that pops up, does not highlight the option you picked, making it seem as if your vote was not registered.
i played a game where i carried a ammo, the guy in question played extremly wasteful, with his gun, and as he ultimately run out of ammo, he spammed, “i need ammo” so i naturally started to stop picking up ammo myself and started pinging it for him to pickup, meanwhile an ogryn found another ammo crate.
but also didn’t dropped it, and pinged the abundant ammo lying around for him, wich that guy mostly ignored (guess walking to an ammo pickup means less action dunno)
he periodicly was putting out the “i need ammo” ping wich i ignored but once the ogryn found a second box he started to type, slurs and insults, with demands, to drop one of the crates for him.
so initiated the vote and shortly after he was gone.
