This is still an extremely rare unique case, not a rule.
On Necromunda they create ogryn psykers via drugs, but Necromunda is a subsetting so whatever.

If i didn’t learn it was Tim Bentinck doing the new Ogryn voicelines i would have never recognize him, crazy vocal range !
However I agree with everyone the Heavy sound to smart for a regular Ogryn. I will give it a shot but to be true i can picture Bentinck’s voice way better as a Mechanicus IMO … IF we have a Mechanicus one day !

Micheal Greary does the Dreg Gunner, Male Fatalist and Engineer Kayex-8. They get pretty phenomenal value for their money talent wise since he does each one so distinctly.

I’m disappointed they didn’t make V2 voiceactors to play Ubersreik Five-alike personalities. I just want my Kruber voice vet and Saltz zealot.
That’s really something we can’t deny alongside holy Jesper Kyd : the voice acting from everyone in this game is top tier.
@weeping.moon I get what you mean, same voices different game different approach i guess, but on a bright side you technically can make an Ubersreik Five (or four doesn’t matter !!) Tuesday with 2 Ogryns, one Brawler one Heavy, a female Seer psycher and a female Maul Arbites soon and expect to have Morrow as your mission giver 
.

If Scab Captains didn’t die so fast we’d get to appreciate two of the personalities they have that are like corrupted Saltz/Kroob and even voiced by them respectively.

They used to pretty tanky, but you still couldn’t hear them. Audio mixing is a mess in this game. I’m not sure why Chaos Warriors and story bosses are perfectible audible in VT2, but in DT it’s impossible to understand anything they say.
I miss things like that.

Listening to this some more, is this even meant to be an Ogryn? It’s a good voice but it seems distinctly like it’s really intelligent to me. Like other than talking a bit slow, isn’t he basically just a fairly enterprising and roughspoken human?
Could it be this is supposed to be a House Goliath type of thing where it’s just a big human rather than an Ogryn?
