New loadout icons

Give us icons that remind us to the actual build.

For example: knife, warhammer, shovel, pistol, club (generic icon both for shock mauls and ogryn clubs). And a hollow human silhouette in half shot for invisibility builds.

Edit:

Book icon for zealot book build

Dog for arbites

No visibility icon for that mission type

Running legs for speed builds

Assault rifle icon

Proper crosshair for sniper builds

Letter H for havoc builds

Now you’re just making me feel smug.

This is another QoL the game just needs to have.

It’s not about the variety, but the similarity. No pistol, no knife, no shovel, no club (but has hammer, zealot has both), no hollow.

But the dog, the no visibility and the book icons are useful.

Very upset there’s no doggo icon D:

the mod above has one

Oh I meant in the base game. Because as great as mods are I’ve cut back to reduce complexity, and I can survive.

But am I thriving?

just give us text my god the icons are cringe

ew no glyphs ftw

Science run amok

FFS. Why is this not in the game?

@FatsharkJulia please can your team just do a simple round up of all the amazing QOL menu/UI mods and integrate in the game for those of us who don’t mod? They’re literally already built and have been tested by many folks.

You could include an ‘approved mods’ menu where we can toggle them on off but really most of them should just be in the vanilla build.

Eg. This one I am replying to is simply a load of small pngs. How hard can it be to integrate that? I’d love more build slots and more icons to use.

Pretty please with sugar and nurgle cherries on top?

We could do a fresh thread that picks out the absolute essential QOL mods from folk who use mods?

I’d take anything as long as it’s more than what’s currently on offer.

Both names and icons would be ideal but at least icons keep it neatly confirmed to a small square

Tagging @FatsharkQuickpaw for visibility

It would really help out the consolers too or the mod squeamish.

Buuut…I AM however wondering if the default 1GB Lua heap comes into play, and if a launcher option for 2 GB might be needed across the board for these if they were optionally enableable, which OFC has further console ad low mem PCs implications (especially on a boat).
