Iv gotta agree, I tried using it with stuff and it is just a horrible colour of purple I guess any free cosmetics are good but Darktide could do with more, and recolouring too! I refuse to spend money on cosmetics until they change the system. I would spend several hundred pounds (over a couple years) if they had a V2 style shop.

yeah this mod would be cool if there was a wave that spawned ahead of the radio operator after you do the minigame. as is you complete it and there’s a lack of enemies in general outside havoc unless you’re playing with like under 50 hour playtime people. so when you do see him he gets wasted right away even with his meaty (not serious) 2000 HP flak body with unarmored face. half the times I’ve killed one its been in the same melee swing as a bunch of trash since he just runs in and dies.
I’ve done it offline and let some elites/specialists come in and its much more of a thing, but currently with how the event operates you just kill this guy right at the start and avoid the entire thing. little dull.
minigame is one of the better ones seen yet, glad those continually innovate at least.

These events are crap and so have been their “rewards”. This one being the most obnoxious one so far. For what? For a garbage in game icon that nobody pays attention to?
How about an actual cosmetic piece from their overpriced cosmetics store instead? Yeah. Thought so.
Those in game resources are useless to most if not all players. Fatshart sucks at live service.

I like new event @FatsharkKitefin @FatsharkStrawHat but i played a few where tesm scoured maps of assigned missions special conditions and 1 out of 3 times none show up @Developer team please check this
There is no appearance of someone picking up on the item and somehow at end of game appears in the event tally

Half of the spawn points for loot in general are bugged and have been since release. You gotta jump around them like a spaz, hoping you can loot the crap. Some of the stuff just ends up spawning inside a solid object or wall.
All this event accomplished is just further point out how poorly they have mishandled the release as well the pizz poor post release support of this continued, neglected live service title
That core combat system is the only thing holding this mess together. That was true on day one and that remains true all these years later.
The fact that some of you are praising them for this low effort crap is genuinely pathetic.
Yeah idk I appreciate that they at least tried to make it more interesting than “collect 10 grimoires” but this is pretty rushed and bad even still. It’s a reskinned gunner and a reskinned auspex minigame that isn’t attained in any way special. It’ll be removed again after the event too lol.
It’ll soon have been 3 years and the devs STILL aren’t in a rhythm where they can actually build something actually well thought out for an event, AND they’re still removing all this stuff so it’s time limited? It’s pretty sad. Can’t even say it’s an improvement over previous events because just like them, it’ll be removed from the game in a couple weeks.

Tbh, I tested it in solo.
The enemy is interesting. He makes spawning a little army. I think it would be something great in a normal game and not just linked to the communication device.
Also, I really like this mini game. The problem is that players want to rush. I appreciate playing amission, but the majority want just finish as fast as possible a mission. So, no need to search more the reason why it is not appreciated.
But personally, I really like both… the communication device and the enemy
Played on a lower level to farm some devices the other night and got to experience what the enemy is meant to feel like when he kept spawning sniper squads, an actual threat in some situations. That was cool! I think he’s getting drowned out on higher difficulties, but some voice lines and more prominent outfit might help there (in addition to adjusting his spawns).
And the mini-game is my favorite so far. It rewards skill more than any game we’ve had yet, and you can finish it super super fast.
