As the title says, my pc and i can’t take it anymore, either the rumbler, granade box or big nade, stutter my game for the entire mission, it sucks to play a 20/30 min where is a non stop of spamming explosives, even worse on the trials where ogryn nades comes with cornflakes it seems, i freaking hate it, just played some missions and it was horrible, my screen looked like ppt+flashbangs.
U could fix it by the “hard way” (devs optimizing the game), putting an option to reduce or eliminate explosion vfx (if someone knows a mod to do this pls post it below), or nerfing the capability ogryns have to spam explosion (wich isn’t optimal because of the buff that just got, but honestly ogryn nades/rumbler are very strong indeed, nevertheless ogryn itself is kinda OP right now for me, i don’t even like to play it that much because it’s too boring on how powerful some builds can be right now).
i don’t like the effect of the box of hurt, something (net code?) makes the game stutter, although my pc is fast enough to keep up the frame rate. and it’s also bad for visibility.

I can’t play the game with the stutters i suffer, that (most of the time) ogryn provoke, is anything bad about that, is my only problem because i don’t have the best of the best in hardware, or cause i live so far from the servers that have players i need to play with 150-215 ping, i called for something completly logical, i want to play the game smootly, is that so hard to understand?.
Damn im getting a Migrane from perma Smite users, you know because of all the purple lines on the screen. Needs to be nerfed.

Maybe look for mods that tune down Effects, there are a Few. Like “More Graphics Option” on Nexus.
there should be an option to turn off the effect, problem solved.
had some weird stuff like stuttering only when nades affected mutants, no other enemy type was causing this for whatever reason.
fps still stable as far as raw number but server seemed to act out.
secondly, excise vault of all things, second last room before the cryonic rod event, there seem to be an overspill of residing nade effect stutter that made this encounter feel like >10 fps in terms of game-response.
i mean by now it would be clear to any seasoned player box of boom = damage over time, i dont mind enemies dropping without further explosion effect, i KNOW whats going on on the chessboard.
my 4080 i71300k can handle the explosions fps wise if your game/server cant, kindly give me the option to turn it off.
Imagine being delusional enough to think that if someone’s pc stutters when playing this poorly made game, they must have a “potato pc” and should spend thousands to upgrade it
The regen grenades every 20 seconds on mortis trials with the every grenade type coming out at once effect, with a 90% chance to throw 2 grenades… and multiple Ogyrns with the same effect… yeah. I have had several games where all the nades crashed a few people’s PC.
It’s only an issue in Mortis Trials but it’s the funniest and most wild upgrade. From a balance perspective though it trivializes the entire thing if you can get the grenade setup. They should for sure change some of those to have some draw backs. Ogyrn with bombs away is easily the best for Mortis Trials from my short 30 missions of testing.
Yeah that can be common in modes like this. Gun fire and such. But usually the difficulty and time to pull it off is larger. It’s pretty easy to roll the grenade upgrades. Even if you don’t get all of them, just even bombs away every 20 seconds is pretty damn strong without any other upgrades.
Usually in rogue lites you would have to get a bunch of specific weapons(weapon upgrades) abilities and modifiers to have things work like guaranteed crits and crits always do bleed and bleed causes X to occur and what not.
