Need better quality control for cosmetics

There is some pretty obvious clipping on the reverse of the ogryn’s shirt.

Also, the skull and crossbones decal that has been overlaid on the jacket textures for ogryn and veteran looks really bad. It doesn’t look like it has been painted/sprayed on, it looks like it has been digitally laid on top in photoshop, ruining immersion. You can see how on the ogryn jacket, the colour goes over what is supposed to be a tear in the fabric. On the veteran version, the decal obscures the jacket seam and makes the glossy leather texture matte - quite visually jarring.

My suggestion would be to either edit the skull and crossbones off entirely, or at least add some wear/scratches onto it so it fits the overall aesthetic.

Since the rest of the game is visually stunning, it’s disappointing that there hasn’t been better quality control on these items. These three issues in particular aren’t immediately obvious from the store page either, since all three are on the reverse of the items.

Further, it would build goodwill with the community if there were some non-premium cosmetics added to the armory to accompany each new set of paid cosmetics. Since the cosmetics appear to have been designed in a modular fashion, it shouldn’t be too hard to make some plainer versions (e.g lacking a shoulder pad, bandolier, etc) for the ordo docket store.

And also the game

That is the exact reason why so many people are yelling at other players to stop buying cosmetics. The quality control of the game is abysmal. If you keep buying cosmetics you’re rewarding that behaviour.

That’s an understandable point of view.

I still think players should be able to buy an item from the store without having to scrutinise it from all angles to check for issues.
