It seems Necromancer Sienna has an issue with items in her 4th slot. I’ve noticed for a couple of months now that she refuses to give her potion from this slot to a player, even if the player’s corresponding slot is empty. However, the idea to test this with the most specific item for this slot - Grimoire - only occurred to me recently. The screenshots show that the “Drop Grimoire” command is unavailable for her. If you order her to pick up a potion (which she shouldn’t be able to do unless she drops Grimoire; so she should answer smth like “I can’t”, afair), she simply walks to the potion and stares at it, ignoring everything around her. Even if you move away, she teleports and resumes walking toward the potion (even through walls, as seen in the screenshots). I haven’t tested this on other maps, but as mentioned, the “unwillingness to share potions” issue has persisted for 2-3 months across multiple maps and modes (including CW).
Upd. Tested with another career (I usually only play as or with a Necromancer): she easily gave me the potion and dropped the Grimoire when I ordered her to pick up another potion. My initial hypothesis: to give a potion to a player or drop the Grimoire, she needs to “select” the 4th slot, but for the Necromancer subclass, a single press of the 4 key instead equips the class-specific skull item (used to command skeletons). Honestly, it would be odd if bots interacted with their equipment the same way players do (i.e., “pressing” keys), but this is a pretty easy explanation for the issue occurring exclusively with her Necromancer career.
This all is official realm without any mods changing bots’ behaviour
Steps to Reproduce (Required):
- Order Necromancer Sienna to pick up a Grimoire
- Attempt to command her to “Drop Grimoire” > option unavailable
- Order her to pick up a potion > she approaches but doesn’t interact
- Move away from Sienna > she teleports and resumes pathing toward the Grimoire (not always, after I got to the bell and interacted with it, she teleported again and then forgot about the potion)
