My save files get bricked and crash my game whenever an update comes out

i load into my character, and as soon as i enter hub it crashes.
this happened to my old save files, so i started a new character 4 days ago, and now it is doing this after the update.

This is a GPU-related crash, I expect it’s coincidental that the issue was alleviated by creating a new operative. Please see:
