Was having a conversation with someone about pets and animals. Mentioned that I didn’t have to put down my dog yet thankfully, but I’m dreading it. Mod told me to stop “being depressing”. Someone replied to my post. I said “Not necessary, but I digress.” Adhering to the mod.
Caught a week long mute immediately for talking about my own damn dog and me fearing have to put him down. Cited as “Being depressing”.
What kind of show is this?
Seems pretty shitty.
I’ve seen toxic conversations persist for hours in the discord with no interaction, so I’m a little surprised that any mods would choose to interject about something so benign.
A lot of the comments about the discord servers moderation makes me glad I’ve never joined there. Sorry about your dog.

I got a lifetime ban. Way back last spring we were arguing about whether there were going to be custom characters or not and suddenly some dude was spamming the channel declaring me racist and a bunch of other things based on my Discord nickname which was pretty similar to the one I use here. I suppose I should have just ignored it but it got to the point of overwhelming the conversation so I told him to quit being an immature r*tard or something along those lines and hopped off. Tried to get back on later that evening and couldn’t. Guy must have been the mod’s buddy or something.
Because they are and made the discord their hugbox.
Looking in to what happened as I wasn’t involved in this situation, there is a fair bit more to it than this, but I don’t fancy airing this laundry in the open unless you want that to happen. Happy to take this up in DM though.
