its pretty much being negative for sake of being negative and trying to be a smart ass, anyone who represents their guess work as a fact (especially when its negative) are just trying to sound smart, fact is we don’t know what this is for and can only guess.
I don’t like how abstract and unrelated they are. I came to save Atoma, not play games inside a game like a double-dork. Also if it’s not on mission terminal and in quickplay it’s as good as don’t exist, they must not do that mistake again.
The only problem with Mortis is the narrative behind it, had it been part of a Ritual Sefoni had to do to prevent Sorcerous dealing, somewhat like Back to Ubersreik in Vt2.
Really hope it’s going to be tied to that narrative about the lost/ cut off second hive city, do correct me if I remember it wrong. Could fit some new environments and maybe new enemies as well, maybe a Chaos Wastes in this setting.
I have some extra sources in “Wrath & Glory: Extraction” too. Seems Atoma is only the inhabitable rock in the system. Other worlds are still in domain, but not the Atoma solar system from how I read it.
Were probably not going out of system… Mourning Star business is on Atoma. If “going places” in system orbital systems, 2nd hive city or any place of interest on planet… outside the hive’s livability is also high risk.
Also another wild speculation Eldar Dock???
Youtuber take
I agree… except for solo game mode promised more than 3 years ago.
Solo Mode entrance??? ![]()
I am sure that it won’t be that…
But I agree with the sentiment that a new game mode is totally UNNEEDED.
We already have too many. Mortis Trial was clearly not needed.
And yes Chaos waste would have been good… instead of Havoc
NGL this thread is getting me excited!
I’m trying not to get too excited though, just in case ![]()
Lord I hope we get to visit a forest moon! How refreshing that would be compared to the grey hive city.

Yeah I think it will stretch the base even thinner or things will get more ignored like Mortis Trials / Havoc kind of are… but I’m just along for the ride… I’ll let Fatshark do the worrying
Can’t wait for Mr. E to make a 20 minute video about this.
Whatever it is, if it has new full size missions then I’m stoked. If it’s in a new biome I’m double stoked.
If it also has new faction or enemy then quad stoked.
Of course I’m happy to simply be stoked at this point.
Let the stoking commence!
You clearly expect too much
And believe me… I am sorry to say that.
But we are not talking about Arrowhead here. This is Fatshark
I don’t think a new mission or 2 is expecting too much. That’s my baseline for “stoked" ![]()
Nothing yet, just the patch notes about the buffs and a bit about calling us “Elistist players that don’t understand the plight of most players in the game” smug
ah sorry… I was thinking you expected a lot more than that.
I don’t like getting random people who play in spite of me rather than with me. The players who join Mortis are either on their very first try (having been directed there by the objective tracker) and sticking close because they want help or they know how the mode works and are good at cooperating. If mortis was on the terminal, the quality of matches would be worse.
I think you overestimate size of DT’s playerbase here, or amount of new players it gets comparing to existing ones. It could be worse for a couple months may be, as for many even seasoned players it would be a new experience - but after that evrybody and their mom would have played it a dozen times and would have already understood how it works, it’s not rocket science.
My point is that putting Mortis on the terminal changes the incentive structure. Quickplay filters for people who opt in; the terminal invites people who are just cycling content.
