Hi, Fatshark! I was wondering if you’d consider making another community stats post about the most common character names of Darktide players. My friends and I have had a running observation where it seems that everyone with a very common name like “Harken” tend to be rather lackluster as teammates on higher difficulties. I thought maybe it’d be fun for you guys to take a look at the community’s stats and see which are the most picked operative names. Just an idea if you guys would like to look into it. Anyways, keep up the great work on your game! :3

I’m a huge fan of all things statistics myself, I’d love to get a sneak peek at what’s going on in the playerbase. 
That said, leading with “ppl with common names tend to suck” isn’t exactly well-intentioned is it? Not to pick an argument or anything but Darktide certainly seems to have a lot of people prone to stereotyping over random reasons. Like titles, cosmetics, using knives and/or the loner aura etc.

I’d like to see some stats for each class on how many characters use predetermined names, and how many use one of their own creation. I rolled a 23 for naming my Cadian, and I’ve yet to see someone else share that name, so almost unique?
Harken is definitely up there for the most common name, though.

I’m disappointed i have seen JohnDarktide only twice.
But i imagine the most popular would be one of the “randomly” generated ones.

I never said you can’t play how you want. I’m just talking about a funny observation I made. If you genuinely get upset about someone using a knife you’re probably stupid
