Mortis Trials do not have enough elites

It feels like there’s a total scarcity of elites in Mortis Trials, even compared to regular Damnations. This results in waves generally being very easy, even when spamming specialists.

There needs to be far more elites to deal with in order for the mode to really start being difficult.

More reapers please…

I don’t know if it exists or not, since I tend to be half-asleep playing Mortis, but more Elite-focused Waves would be pretty neat, especially on higher levels.

  1. Scab Melee Only.

  2. “Firing Squad”, only shooters, gunners, snipers and reapers.

  3. Ogryns on Parade (Oops all Ogryns).

  4. Elite Patrol Simulator (A bunch of the same elite all at once).

the few times the objectives actually swarm you with non stop elites are the only interesting parts of mortis trials, usually at wave 10 or 11. unfortunately 9 out of 10 times there’s an objective the spawns seemingly just stop.
“hold your ground” as there’s not a single poxwalker in sight for the entire duration lol. it really is tempting to not hold my ground and go look for them because i want to play the game and not afk in an objective area.

Wave 9, and yeah, sometimes a couple shooter go into hiding the ai director says it’s not time to send more units yet.

I only ever see maybe 1 crusher pop in for the 12 rounds that are active.
It kinda does seem like a baby gamemode due to lack of armored enemy diversity.
