Mission Selection and an event that highlights its inadequacies

I’ve been vocal about this since beta, and other than adding more to pick from we’re still lacking what both Vermintide games had; The ability to select a specific mission of a specific difficulty with the modifiers of our choosing.

The most recent event again made this frustrating, where you probably have a specific difficulty you and your friends want to play at, but if you want to do the Mobian 21st event, there’s probably 1-2 missions total to pick from and that’s it.

Maybe you sit at the mission selection screen and complain for 5 minutes and wait for the missions to slowly refresh, or maybe you run the mission that’s closest to what you want and hope something better will be there next time. Except there probably isn’t or you may just be stuck running the exact same mission you’re sick of running as there’s nothing else available.

The most fun part of this game is the combat, always has been. Every single aspect of the Morning Star feels like it’s designed to be frustrating and make you resent being there and interacting with it. The must recent changes are a big step in the right direction but I’d hardly call it a top quality UI/UX experience either.

I just want to play the fun part of the game - being able to pick which mission/difficulty/modifiers is part of that.
