There’s no responses from the female cutthroat voice to any praise from Ogryn. I first started noticing it maybe a few months after the update that added the talent trees and it’s been present ever since. It’s a bummer because the characters are one of my favourite parts of this game and the banter being missing for so long feels like there’s a big part of the game missing.
Same with male cutthroat. This has been a problem since launch, i think. To be honest, i think they completely forgot to record the voice lines for this scenario or never had any written or something because they have fixed many voice line issues except for this one.
Yeah, this issue goes all the way back to May 2023 based on other user reports. So, almost a 2 year old issue at this point lol
I remember hearing them way back, then not hearing them, then hearing them again at some point. Since the talent trees and action abilities update it’s been dead quiet. The Ogryn bring out such a cool softer part of the cutthroat character too, I wanna hear them again!
Yeah man, especially the brawler ogryn. I am a cutthorat main as well and it bothers me every time they compliment the cutthroat just for them to completely ignore it lol
Also, the Female Loner Psyker dialogue is cut short (unless it’s on purpose - based on her tone it kinda sounds like it?), about foreshortened lifespans.
This whole part is missing:
“No, I said foreshortened lifespans, not FOUR shortened lifespans! Why are you not paying attention, look at me not them!”
To be honest I had a feeling the female voice lines are usually cut short in multiple dialogues…
I was sure it was on purpouse to keep them at least a bit different but it was always about cutting parts of their lines instead of changing them.
The subtitles account for it, so I think her VA just… never got instruction for the follow-up. Either that, or Greg Jones improv’d, and they thought it was funny enough to throw in.
There is also a problem with Male Veteran professional, who does not always respond to and/or say the “klllstreak” line at the correct moments.
Works perfectly with male cutthroats, but not with male professionals who often doesn’t say anything at all like he’s supposed to: “Drill and kills”, “It’s what I trained for” and so on.
He’s just quiet.
And on the other spectrum, when the male professional tells someone that they are on a killstreak, they don’t respond or it gets cancelled by other voice lines.
I love the male loner everything he says makes me laugh even the way he says grenade is hilarious oh and it’s the same voice actor that does bully ogryn.
