First off, you’ve got a great voice and that was enjoyable to listen to. The lyrical timing with the beat of the song was very smooth and well done.
That said, I don’t think it’s accurate to say FS doesn’t listen to the community, nor do I think it’s productive to call the devs lazy.
Could there be better communication? Sure, there’s always room for improvement but communication certainly has improved since launch of Darktide.
Perhaps a monthly post from @FatsharkStrawhat Strawhat, pinned to the general Discussion Board in Darktide with a top 10 list of things the Devs are focusing on - so players could more easily appreciate the Dev team’s efforts - would help alleviate tenions on the forum.
Sometimes for larger tasks it’s not easy to give a specific timeframe, but at least players would be able to see what things are being focused on.
Just a few quick notable examples of player feedback the dev team has responded to and changed for the better:
I. Crafting at Hadron’s Casino was abhorent at launch, now it’s significantly better.
II. Talent trees have come a long way since launch and now there’s an abundance of build options across all classes. There is an argument to be made that some talents need balance adjustments for sure, but credit where credit is due Talent Trees today vs launch are much better.
III. Brunt’s shop used to be a nightmare to visit, with so many similar weapons to choose from and not a lot of explanation on the differences between all the weapons available to purchase in his store.
Weapon inventory was also atrocious and unnecessarily bloated, it made inventory organization a nightmare.
Since then, weapons have been consolidated into marks, favourites are able to be saved and player weapon inventory is much more streamlined.
So again, it’s good that players post feedback and care enough about Darktide to have regular discussions around things that could be improved on. But it’s counterproductive to make the Forum into a forum users vs. Dev team environment.
That’s just my two cents.
