All I want at this point is to be able to play the maps and modifiers of my choice. I don’t need loot for custom selected runs but for the love of Emperor why do I have to wait for literally days between being able to run the Maelstrom I want?
There are only three maps in the Mortis Trials and those are supposed to a training area, why can I not select which map I want to train in? I’m going to just reset until the map I want shows up, save everyone some time and effort.
At this point absolutely nobody wants the randomness. It was an idea before the game came out to present a story of the world where different things happen at different times and a lowly soldier doesn’t get much say in it. But that was never fully realized and is only neat for a couple weeks at best. It’s been years, just let me play the game you already made!
It drives me batty that I unknowingly and unwittingly fell in love with a Destiny-esque game where content gets sunset for no flucking reason whatsoever. And if there is a lore or james workshop reason, then this will for sure be the last warhammer game I ever play.
+1, every time I hear someone say, “Fatshark can’t do that GW won’t let them”, I just think, that isn’t my problem it’s a problem for them if they want my money in the future.
There is respecting lore, and then there is this near insanity that this literal satirical world meant to poke fun at Thatcherism or whatever (along with 2000 AD/Dredd IIRC) MUST absolutely be clean, neat, and tidy and NO EXCECPSTHUNS EVER.
