Latest changes to horrible BOTs

Bots dying aren’t an issue in Cata, because you expect them to die a lot, even so bots can have a random behavior that can trigger a pat that will still happend and if you play with 2 other people this bot can be still annoying, Cata with bots as you said can get stuck by a ladder, but not only a ladder, i saw them jumping off a cliff, getting stuck on a rock in front of them, and to fix them you have to run till they teleport to you which means, you’re doing a true solo cata run sometimes.

That being said i have no reason willing to play Cata with bots, it’s more fun with people

The real issue i have is in books run in legend when i’d like to clean some weeklies and they cannot stay alive a whole level because they getting stuck or just simply die because they not near you, they can’t even take books you order them sometimes by getting stuck on place.

The only carry i need for them is to carry books, it’s time wasting to deal with those buggy situations having to constantly babysitting their positions and when they are stuck you’d have to protect them while running little by little till they get teleported.
you could say do that on qp ? you’d get less books and insults, that’s how legend qp is.
Lower difficulty to recruit ? Man i can aslo not playing so i wont bother too ? That’s the correct answer.
i’m not asking the moon, i just need them sticking close to me and not getting stuck how hard is that ?
Also for saltz an option to check if allowing bots healing you or not would work pretty nicely.

Well i said quality of life improvements are fine. Getting stuck on rocks i didn’t encounter much, unless i jumped over a wall as a shortcut, but if i went around they didnt get stuck. Being more consistent in taking items or ammo, sure. When a bot gets stuck it’s only one, i never had 3 get stuck on me.

What do you mean? So not playing legend is a waste of time? I can’t do the loot endgame difficulty with bots reliably so pls buff bots, thats what i understand from what u said. Difficulty doesn’t have anything to do with the bot behaviour i am talking about and that i think is the only thing that needs changing.

They are literally staying close right now, they aren’t moving further away then players in quick play. And if you know how bots behave and can adjust to certain situations it’s fine, and getting stuck can sometimes also be a player issue, sometimes you have to walk a certain way for bots not to get stuck, which you also learn by playing with them alot. But yes walking off cliffs randomly is stupid and needs fixing.

More like “i should play on a boring difficulty to avoid loosing books” That’s just my english shining here.

They aren’t staying close, they wandering chasing specials that they detect and chase them. killing them works, but if you don’t see them because of a wall or simply didn’t see them because of a horde, means they gonna leave you ranged weapons out swim into horde and eventualy die. And you have no way of calling them back.

I’m not sure you can detect how and when they getting stuck, you definetly have some clues like Asking them to take a book that is true. In a level i could walk the same path twice they eventualy get stuck it’s more rare but it happend.

Just did a run where bots were doing great untill pubs joined when I was at 3th Tome Screaming Bell ( little bit past that loc. )
A wave came rollin’ in and suddenly bot ran back to where 3th tome can be found, no other player was there since we alrdy took it and when wave cleared he remained there, standing… just sadning to behold
