A quick update to say we’re still in continued discussion about this issue - our developers are aware that the initially proposed workaround of using another operative is not viable for many due to the crash occurring before being able to select another operative. They’ve shared their appreciation for all the information you’ve added here.
I’m also updating my previous replies where I’ve said the Karsola Pickaxe is solely responsible, as we’re learning that all Pickaxes may be impacted.
@Kosmo has kindly shared that they’re able to use the mod ‘Log Me In’ as a workaround in the meantime, but right now it appears this only works if you were playing Ogryn last.
However… the legend that is @gpkgpk has developed his own mod, to skip the Ogryn display on the operative selection screen
