KNOWN ISSUE: [PlayStation] Convocation of Decay and CW Arena Crashing

We are aware of crash reports affecting PlayStation players when playing either Convocation of Decay or the Arena during the Chaos Wastes Expedition of Determination.

The error will appear as:
"Corrupt game data. This error could be caused by a broken install. Try to re-install the game. (Function ‘inflate’ failed with code ‘FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFD’.)”

We are working to resolve these crashes as swiftly as possible. Our apologies for the inconvenience in the meantime.

Hello,

This current weekly even crashes for me when I get to the final arena - every time. I’ve tried it about ten times now, with a different combination of bots/weapons/cosmetics in case it was one of those, but it still crashes like clockwork. Which is heartbreaking, as the reward is Kerillian’s Bitter Dreams sword skin and I’d love that :cry: I’m playing on PS4, UK based, and the error code I get each time is “Corrupt game data. This error could be caused by a broken install. Try to re-install the game. (Function ‘inflate’ failed with code ‘FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFD’.)”

I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, only to get the same crash and message. I’ve tried hosting the weekly event; having a friend host and I join; tried playing different characters with different bots and weapons.

Steps to Reproduce (Required):

  1. Play the Chaos Wastes weekly event as any character on any difficulty.
  2. Work your way to the final area.
  3. Try to load the final arena.
  4. crash :cry:

Just wait a few weeks. Rewards rotate. .-)
For me it didn’t crash but when I played Weekly CW and suffered to the end with those bomb rats, the last monster was Illusionist Rampart Mino, so I cold not kill it fast, all my bots went down and when I tried to rescue them I was knocked out of the map by the bomb rats. How I hate this…
Booming weekly is just not worth playing.
