Issue Description:
While other dots like Burn effect, scale down and eventually stop ticking, bleed keeps on scaling up until a specific cap and ticks until the target dies.
But it doesn’t stop there…
If you place a Burn effect (or any other dot probably) on an enemy (which normally scales down while ticking) and switch to your knife, the burn starts scaling up like Bleed would and keeps ticking until the target dies.
Also, if you place the bleed with your knife and then switch to a higher power weapon, the bleed dot will scale with the higher power. The bleed now starts ticking down as you would expect it to. BUT switching weapons in between ticks allows you to keep the dot going.
On top of that, Veteran Sharpshooter can throw grenades that apply bleed. The damage of this dot changes depending on the weapon held in your hand. So if thrown with a regular gun in your hand the bleed will eventually scale down with each tick until it stops. But when thrown with the knife in your hand the bleed keeps ticking on every single target hit until every target dies.
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Play Veteran Sharpshooter
2. Go into Meatgrinder
3. Equip knife with bleed
4. Slice once against the shield of the shielded Ogryn and see the absurd ticks
5. Next throw a bleed nade in between two big groups of enemies and see their health tick down (be sure to see difference between equipped weapon at time of throwing nade)
6. Experiment with the other stuff that I mentioned in the description
PS: Might be worth mentioning that if you switch your ranged weapon in the Meatgrinder, your knife bleed stops working entirely. It just doesn’t do anything anymore.
