If you have Kerillian’s Eye Colour applied and then select a different cosmetic your eyes will reset to “normal”.
But only visually as in your “character page” you still have the Kerillian’s Eyes applied.
(I’m still in the same spot in both pictures and haven’t moved.
I just put on the head cosmetic to showcase.)
And like I said, it’s only visually as I’m still using the eye settings.
