Its such fake difficulty lowering hp and toghness

This is ObeseTuna. They are literally incapable of learning. Learning requires the ability to be at least partially objective and self-critical. Both of those in turn mandate that you have at least a tenous check on your ego. And what rules this company? Right, ego. This is the company that would rather cut it own throat with the wrong side of a butter knife by releasing THE iconic 40k character’s skill tree unfinished, broken, and riddled with errors than admit to having trouble. If ego had mass I’m pretty sure Stockholm would be ground zero for one heck of a singularity.

And to be be fair their is one tiny little group who wanted this. The gate-keeping Youtubers and their mouth-breating toadies. From the sounds of it this sort of thing is right up their alley. Doesn’t take planning, quick thinking, etc to pass - just raw min-max away the difficulty and pretend to be “skilled.”

Meh, just another case of the staff wasting more resources to please a tiny vocal group. Just think how many actual new modes could have been made with that sort of time investment. Oh well. The stupid will never learn and thus will continue to repeat the same screwups.

Toughness gating, as per the example, is no different to all enemies being buffed to the hilt though.

Again it’s the same result but just a more confusing implementation.

If all the enemies were glowing a special glow that you knew meant they were hard as nails and would wreck your toughness then you’d not question it.

I’m thinking of the best way to visually communicate the variables so that it’s instantly understandable and not confusing.

But it is different though. The difference being that if you’ve got enemies who are insanely more heavy hitting and you have gating, you’ll still have that invulnerability window. Without gating, that invulnerability is gone and now their strength means much more in combat.

What’s confusing about this?
