Are you using the option in UI tweaks mod for faster chest opening?

Had a similar issue once I started using that mod.

@FatsharkJulia if it might be important, I do have it [UI tweaks mod] in my list, but I disabled it a while ago

@Mentis Yeah I don’t believe this is mod-related, it’s been reported in the past too.
