I need to see a video of 4 bosses spawning off of 1 trigger.
Max I had by 1 trigger was 1 normal monstrosity, twins, 1 weakened monstrosity (and shortly after, another weakened monstrosity)
It was on Hallow’s mission, I don’t remember the name, after the first dropdown of them all
yesterday, in a mix of cortison and caffein induced game-rage, with 17! losses over 9 hours, i had the mangiest of zealots.
technically we won this match, one of the few of the day/night indeed but holy crap i had to turn off the recording and my wife was calling from below to “keep it down”
dude was skipping every boss, every encounter going stealth and skipping ahead.
cherry on top, end event shuttle platform comms plex he still refused to fight 3 captains and 1 plague ogryn running in circles ressing us who got downed in the shtshow.
my anger wasnt for human language to express anymore.
surely a “havoc experience”
bonus content: despite being a bench warmer more often than not i still did more dmg/kills etc cause i actually was playing the fkking game and not cowardly zipp to the exit.
gonna upload a few of the “good ones” over the weekend, after 4 hours “sleep” i need to simmer down.
Havoc is the place you sometimes just die, even if you’ve done everything correct.
And that is a good thing.
sorry but no.
if one does everything “correct” there’s 3 jaws dropping on the floor, an awesome clutch being performed and your adrenaline and dopamine levels off the charts.
thats the reason i play darktide for, reward for physical skill, situational awareness and logical thinking.
getting stuck in “hyper cube” is just bullsht in my eyes…
A good thing, perhaps, if you didn’t derank because of it
totally forgot about that crap, you’re progress is on the line, you do “well” but hey… demotions for everyone i guess.
Few more days.
I have only won one 30 since the update and it didnt even count which was infuriating and I lost a ton of runs over and over and over again. Too many people treating havoc like its not end game content for me to actually put any effort into havoc. Ive been playing just for penances but I cant bring myself to care about it otherwise. I want to like havoc because its not like people with alot of hours have anything else to do but i dislike almost everything about the game mode now lol.
Found another suggestion since I posted:
- Enemies enraged by Final Toll do not get healed by Encroaching Garden.
It’s currently possible for a mob to enrage at 50%, then get healed to full by a garden mob AND stay enraged. If you get healing bulwarks with a pack of ragers, it’s a bad time.
Edit: “Found” as in “team got destroyed by”
I understand the frustration here, but I kinda like that the modifiers interact like this. It adds a lot more to different permutations.
Now, maybe assassination bosses shouldn’t count as “Elite Enemies” since they’re not elites but that’s more a categorical gripe of mine.
Its all a joke to the devs now. They got our money. We asked for Red weapons from V2, we literally got red weapons. We asked for harder mode, people cried it was too easy, we got Havoc. We got what we asked for, the devs are just tone deaf and don’t play the game.
I’d prefeer instead for the enraged enemies to become de-enraged if they get above 50% of their hp tbh
Even then I don’t mind that red enemies can be healed, it’s a fun interaction that forces you to target the purple ones even more
Have a shield taunt for final toll in team, press F, profit?
Didn’t initially have anything to say here, but then I did a 20 yesterday (I’ve just been doing low runs to get the last of the weekly chests so I can get the last penance and be free of this awful game mode for good, I still am so happy I grinded out the clears the week before the change over, would have absolutely hated trying to do it now,) just to ‘try one at damnation level’ after the update.
We walk in, guys got a pox gas level, no big deal I think. It’s the smelter repair mission with the long elevator that goes down into the final room at the end (can’t exactly remember it’s name but hope that’s enough for people to visualize).
We get past he first room with the rafters, get into the second room next to the med station. In the following room/after the ‘hut’ with the medstation, there’s a line of gunners. In the room just before the med station, taking up the entire room, was a demon host, and pox gas floor panels.
What happens to spawn right when we get to the med station? The extremely cramped room with a small window for the gunners to shoot through, a demon host at our backs and pox gas all around us?
Twins, an extra Captain, and an Ogryn.
We fight valiantly, the Psyker and Purity Zealot go down immediately, me and the Veteran (I’m a full tank Ogryn) mindlessly flail and end up getting down the extra captain. By this point, the gun twin has literally filled our safe area with layerd bombs, I’ve lost all my health to corruption like 14 times over, and we’ve gone through an entire med pack. We eventually succumb to the overwelming odds, and the veteran goes off in chat about ‘what the actual F$%# where we supposed to do there?!?’.
We then do the mission again, breeze through it without a single death because we just get one monstrosity/captain spawn at a time, including the weakened ones he had rolled, and we didn’t have a host directly before the med station room at the start this time either/didn’t have a host in general I don’t think.
Just, actually insane XD. There I think should absolutely be a limit at least on the number of captains. Monstrosities are whatever, but when I’m getting knocked around by 3 captain shields with a Ogryn also knocking me up, it’s like I literally can no longer play the game ok good night. Didn’t even have that bad a squad, only ‘grief’ was the Psyker was running around with a boltpistol, but he had the Force Greatsword to compensate and a bubble so it wasn’t the worst. But we had a chorus, a shout, and a taunt, but you just can’t do anything to that unless you’re 4 duelling swords and max attack speed. Just, absolutely bonkers. (Sadly did not think to record the insanity either, but yeah. Having such modifiers interact to activate such things do feel like ‘a bit to much’, I’m fine for weirdness in an offshoot game mode, hell I’d probably love it in actual Aurics. But when your toughness and health is also heavily nuked on top of enemies already doing bonus damage, getting stuff like this is actually just ‘ok you can not win unless you where 4 stealth zealots literally not playing the game with dueling swords ok guess I’ll just stop please and thank you’ XD).
you lost 355,687,428,096,000 times?
i feel much shame posting this but someone had to
never feel shame, sah.
hunger or anger… but never shame
was pretty pissed cause despite my best effort
(only way to amp it up further was going like the one esl-dude-interview:
“stupid question, of course we take amphetamin, how you’d think we perform 15 hours?..waaaait was the camera on… fkk…”)
these losses where otta my control, something i usually prevent in auric maelstroms, and “rewarded” with demotions.
so yeah… it felt good to anger some of it
all better now, sah new in, ogryn good now.
