Im not increased in installing fancy new launcher things when it causes my game to get lower fps and freeze during play. Is there a way to block it so i dont have to launch my game twice to play?

agree. i think we should have a choice whether we want a simple or fancy launcher. i prefer the simple launcher as i only need it to hit play.

Edit: I should also clarify that it’s installing a Microsoft Edge Runtime, and not the Edge browser.
Edit 2: You can apparently remove MicrosoftEdgeWebview2Setup from \steamapps\common\Warhammer Vermintide 2\launcher, and will no longer receive the prompt.
