I bought dark tight on Steam. My friend has it on game pass. Is there a way that we can play together?
No. There is currently not any kind of crossplay. It might be something they add later but Microsoft’s certification process makes patch parity between the two version trickier.

Ask your friend if they’d be down to buy the steam version and join you. Seriously. If they’re not going to be into the game and hang with you, don’t bother. But if you both enjoy Darktide and both play a lot, see if they’ll be your wingman. Or vice versa – you pay for gamepass
