Incessant game crashes

Issue Type (Required):

Other

Issue Description (Required):

My games will crash multiple times per session - seemingly, but not exclusively when flame effects or explosions appear on screen. I have disabled the character portrait and reduced the number of working threads to two and one, and lowered the resolution to 1920/1080, to no avail. The drivers for my graphic card appear to be up to date.

My processor is an AMD Ryzen 5 7600 6 cores 3.80Ghz
My RAM is 32 Go
The graphic card is a AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT
The OS is Windows 10 Pro

The latest crash report is as follow:

And apparently, when readjust the graphic settings to high, the game crash will also crash my computer, making it reboot.

Is this being examined? It’s starting to drive me nuts.

@FatsharkJulia

I’ve been plagued with this error in various games since I bought my Ryzen 5800x and still haven’t found the exact cause.
This is a memory access error, its cause is either the bad motherboard or a dying processor.
I will never buy AMD again.

Hey Corenair, I’m moving this to Technical Support.

This would conventionally point to a driver or hardware-related issue. Before anything, I’d recommend a clean re-installation of your GPU drivers so you have a clean slate to work with:
