As someone who has played a lot and finished all the penances, I don’t really care what mission type or game I get thrown into. Open to anything, and just want to help other players with their penances. Perhaps too lazy of me, but I don’t really want to have to “pick” the game mode to play. I am open to expeditions, mortis trials, regular missions, etc. I understand Havoc should be kept separate and there’s a reason you can’t quick play into Havoc but that game mode aside, why can’t we do something like above?
Mortis trials, missions, and expeditions all use the same difficulty scaling up to Auric, so why not let me get quick played into any of these game modes? Especially if there’s concerns the player base is split, or there aren’t as many people in some game modes, here’s an easy way to bridge it. The default should be “off” but for those that just want to go into anything this seems like an easy win to me.
One thing that, IDEALLY, would be here is if it’s a mission in progress you get the opportunity to see what the squad and mission is and it’s modifier so you can change your loadout before loading in (similar to other games like DRG). Or even, I dare ask, changing your operative before loading in.
At least for me, if you have all these goals complete it’s just really for fun and with friends at this point. (Would be nice to have the penance tracker go above 6000 considering what we can go to now).
PS- Allowing private mode when alone would also be great. I would never use it, but I think it should be there for the others that would.
