The game is now so laggy I have to change feats multiple times and it won’t remember it. I have to change feats, go back out, back into check it detected the input, and do this multiple times before it “gets it”.
Check out this for lots of muties that don’t get stunned, and then the last 3 minutes or so for hounds and poxbursters that make no sound until the very last moment when they explode/pounce:
Its really frustrating using a hellbore and the gun just straight up will not shoot. It does this for all guns but the hellbore example is particularly annoying because you have to charge the shots.
I can confirm a similar bumpy/crappy experience.
Also with the disconnects, stalling at mission end screen, etc. (rock stable in any other online (fast action) game (Insurgency Sandstorm, Destiny 2, even World War Z, etc.)).
I can’t have lower than 105+ ms latency due to my geographical location and I often witness weird/inconsistent behaviors from doggos, muties and others.
Also low playerbase depending on the time of day - regularly suffering from the utterly incompetent bots (slots not filling up during whole missions).
Many games can be quite frustrating…
Hey - I have to say that I play surge psyker quite a bit so I can offer a comparison.
Muties take quite a bit of stunning in my experience. I don’t know if that’s right or wrong, but you need to hit them for quite a bit of electricity before they stop. Watching that video, that’s actually not any different from what I normally get.
The only exception to what I normally see was that burster early on that leapt at you even though you were hitting it. That’s atypical for me (normally they skittle away from you on the floor).
Again: I’m not saying you’re wrong. Or having a go. I’m just saying what I saw there is my day to day! And I think I’ve a fairly good connection/pc/settings etc
agreed. They *need, to add offline play.
Bump
They will. They might even add peer to peer in because of low population count and server costs. They can’t run 0 revenue forever.
The game is entirely built on the structure that it will be run on servers.
How do you expect them to randomly “add offlineplay” or “add p2p”.
I also doubt they are running 0 revenue. The game is released, it still gets bought here and there. Same for the Microtransactions. And they have a much bigger pool to feed from, since the launch was also that much better (in terms of sales) compared to VT2.
Don’t worry. Things will get in gear soon™.
