The game is already a grind, and now you make it a daily money pit. I am dismayed and dishartened, it’s frankly appauling, everyone wanted this game, how can you think so little of it?
The game isnt good or popular enough for you to pull these stunts, I don’t know if to ask how you can be this greedy, or frankly this self defeating.
as player we cant stand for this, or next time it’s lootboxes and pay to win.
We need to stop this now. or we will see worse next time.
I’m sorry, but they wont listen any other way, negative reveiws and not participating in MTXs our our only options unless you wanna fire an email at your local swedish consolate.
I don’t support review bombing because I believe it to do the opposite of what it tries to achieve.
Instead, just leave a reasonable but TRUTHFUL review. I’ve personally left a negative review myself over the Cash shop because I despise it, but nothing that I said in my review is hyperbole or exaggerated in any way, and I think that’s important if you want people to take your complaints seriously.
And because I despise it so much I’d implore everyone to bump this thread so that it stays relevant and fresh in people’s feeds
Reviewbombing is dumb. It hides legitimate reviews and makes you and everyone else who reviewbombs look like a fool. In fact, it’s part of what causes game devs (Fatshark included) to clam up and distance themselves from the community in the first place. Reviewbombing does nothing for you.
You have every right to be angry over MTX, a rushed release, and so on. I am, too. You can leave a polite, but firm review to get your point across. People might listen to you for once.
Don’t be childish. Leave an honest review, get a refund, and walk away.
A LOT of us are having fun and just aren’t going to participate in the optional cosmetics. I probably would buy some down the road but I hate the implementation of premium currency.
I’m fine with paying cash for stuff, I’m fine with paying cash for a reasonably correct amount of some silly premium currency to buy stuff with. I’m NOT OK with having to buy way more premium currency than the amount I need to get what I want, that’s a horrible practice.
This post started out as “review bomb”… because that solves all issues nowadays, just try to cancel anything that you dont like.
It was well known there was going to be a MTX shop to anyone that paid attention to the development of the game, or played Vermintide 2, or looked at a calendar and saw its 2022 and very few games dont have MTX nowadays.
The bottom line is this.
You dont need to buy the cosmetics.
If you lack the self-control to ignore them thats on you.
If you are unable to contain your FOMO or lack the ability to make well thought out decisions on what to do with your income “fixing” the Darktide shop to the exact specifications you want it to be like wont fix the issue.
No one forces you to engage with the premium currency shop.
No one forces you to play the game either.
Stop expecting the world to cater to you and your lack of financial self control. It is your responsibility, not Fatsharks.
And I was looking forward to it too. It was great in VT2, you know exactly what the deal is.
And now they added a proxy currency, in larger blocks than the item prices, so you always have some money left in the game to taunt you, and the FOMO timer to try to bait you into buying again.
You don’t need to buy the cosmetics. You can also refund the game, leave a negative review, and make a thread about it. I’ll do it all.
