I hope to see Packmasters in normal missions on the next update

I think enough time has passed for them to be added to the normal game, go go go I want to fight them alongside many ragers and gunners

its a good debuff when there’s other things to worry about. too bad he just gets murked when you happen upon him with nothing else on screen…

Just make his attack pattern slightly faster & buff his DPS to make him more menacing to go along with that intimidating look. Then we’re pretty much golden for the most part & now we’re talking. If they did that then yeah, it would make it at least a challenge to fight. Right now, he’s as intimidating as a BoN or Plogryn. When I see him in Expeditions, I’m like ‘Meh’ & move on.

Quite often, especially when I’m busy with a horde, my teammates kill him before I even see him.

anything to make me fight stuff but slugs tbh

I dunno, he’s very squishy at the moment and it’s not like bringing the Packmaster to regular games is going to make me play Darktide more.

New faction, new maps and new weapons are what we need more than anything!

Packmaster is not fun to fight because his mechanics is boring and he sucks.,

He sucks as a solo threat

His DEBUFF can seriously expose you to every other enemy

You also can’t clutch against him, he sees through Stealth + is extremely fast when running to you, you’re forced to kill them before any revive attempt

He has never hit me with the debuff. His dogs does nothing and dies within two seconds. Packmaster has extremely low HP and is taken out instantly by Krak’s and the regular jazz.

Introducing Packmaster into standard game modes will not make people play the game more.

He does zero damage and is zero threat and has no attacks that can put you in bad positions like CS or PO.

Gotta disagree on that, pogryn is zero threat packmaster can destroy your ability to dodge and if that happens when you’re low on health and everyone else is dead or of doing who knows what then he can be quite dangerous.

he also has 66000 HP on auric, which is 6000 more than plogryn and the most of any monstrosity. problem is more his susceptibility to staggers, like chaos spawn he can just be pushed around until he dies.

He gets knocked on his arse by arbites grenades kinda hilarious

Make its Overhead deal the same amount of Damage as a Crusher’s Overhead. :smiling_face_with_horns:

all bosses get staggered by the arbites grenade, its actually pretty good. after you use ‘break the line’ it will one shot auric mutants, probably the most hilarious dead stop on them next to the rock. but the packmaster has the low stagger resistance of chaos spawn/daemonhost, so after you stagger it you can stagger it again (without ogryn’s ‘indomitable’ after all he is the strongest)

I mean… I’m fine with this, to be honest. Arbites Grenades aren’t overly strong. The issue mainly stems from us as Players having SO MANY reliable ways to stagger a Monstrosity. I’m a bit iffy on Shout Abilities being able to stagger Monstrosities, personally.

Also I can confirm this is another bugged build where they don’t let me punch spawn in the face with the poop shovel. I literally only queue up with this weapon to bully spawns and daemonhosts

Literally unplayable.

I forgot about the Ogryn boss when reading this title I thought you were asking to put hook rats into Darktide :rat:

I mean I’m the guy who thinks blackouts WITHOUT pocket toxin are amazing, of course I use the arbites grenade.

I use Blackouts WITH Pocket Toxin because I like how they’re literal replenishable firecrackers that put DoT Stacks on Enemies, and how well they synergise with a Braced Autogun. If there’s a distant Sniper that’s giving me sh*t, I just account for the drop, throw one… going… going… gone! Sniper’s a dead-dead-dead-dead-dead 'un. It’s so satisfying! You just don’t get that from Chem Grenades. The utility of Blackouts is also just generally too good to pass up for me due to Hive Scum’s overall lack of Stagger options.

I also use Arbites Grenades on my Lone Wolf build for a similar purpose, on top of putting Monstrosities on their arses to either give my team breathing room or to safely press an attack.

Blackouts are great, probably the only hive scum thing where the bugs will never be fixed (you can be interrupted in the throw) because its not clearing 50k+ damage in one blitz activation so its going unused. The only time ‘make it good, but not too good’ was followed. Bonesaw was close but the default cleave is too mid even for auric (4 hitmass on that sweeping heavy, wow such cleave).
