Give each round a chance to cause bleed on-hit. This makes sense logically and give autoguns a slight edge towards enemies with high health pools, and it would allow an option to go for a ranged bleed build.
What would make autoguns atrractive to me is access to custom ammo, so you can choose dumdum that cause bleed, FMJs that pen armor etc and basic, and i mean barebones customization like 2-3 scopes, bayonets or torch. There are picattiny rails on the guns for crying out loud.
Most of them rails that people mention, are just the texture of the safety switches. There are 2 rifles with real rails on them. But for what purpose do you want a scope? A red dot like the Kantrael has would be nice on the Accatran. But it would still be unnecessary. Vet can make every far away shooter glow yellow. And every special can be made glow red by all.
Iron sights are accurate enough to snipe a head of an far away sniper. All you would get with a scope is a longer time until you are in scope and a higher weapon sway, causing you to miss more shots. Not to talk about all the melee mobs spawning behind you and hitting you while you are stuck in scope.
Flashlights for all classes would be cool. But scopes are some what useless. Enemies have Aimbot anyway. So you get no advantage from making long shots.
