Hearing Cyronic rod every half second actually makes it very hard to listen for audio cues. Not to mention its hella annoying. Is there a way to reduce just a certain players or other players voice lines without losing my game functionality? Does anyone have any solutions to the “Cryonic rod, Medicae station!” spam?
One guy followed me around spamming it after i asked him to stop and he said “its a bug i cant help it”, proceeded to follow after me the entire mission just mashing his key on it.
this kind of bug, with him having the humor and iq of a 3 year old.
dude’s giggling everytime he pushes that button, same as shortcuts for yes/no except those are valuable info.
i shout a for the emprah once at the start and usually thats it.
spamming that sht ad nausea is annoying and deserving a block.
usually nothing of worth is lost for most of the time these kind of players are irritating to play with anyways
If you go into the social menu and toggle the mute option on the problem player (not voice chat, just text chat) it should silence all manually triggered voice lines. I tried it on a whim when someone was spamming “need ammo” and I was very surprised to see it worked.
Nowhere in the game does it tell you this, but I hope it helps.
speaking of voice, i had all kinds of funny encounters back when i had ingame voice on. people talking to their buddies and apparently ignoring that everyone else heard them too, people ranting with abysmal quality mics, munching or making noises, and the best one was a guy who made boom bam brrrtt sound effects with his mouth for the whole game.
I dunno, hearing cyronic rod every second for a 30m match isn’t particularly amusing to me. To each their own i suppose. Thankfully @CobaltNinja answered my question on how to remediate from my end.
I let them get caught(trapper/dog) and watch them being beaten to death while spamming my own basic vocie responses.
With a certain satisfaction, I might add.
