Hotfix #82 - 1.10.1 - Patch Notes

Hey Everyone,

Hotfix #82 (1.10.1) is currently rolling out across our platforms. In the meantime, you can read the notes below.

General Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue with talent trees being wiped for some classes (will unfortunately not fix the trees that have already been wiped)
  • Fixed an issue where some players would not get access to their Hive Scum Deluxe Edition items until entering the hub with another character.
  • Fixed an issue where the Special Assignments menu would not close properly while using a gamepad.
  • Fixed an issue where the Play button could disappear after entering and exiting the Special Assignments menu.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause a crash when warpfire from the Psyker Talent ā€˜Wildfire’ spread to other enemies
  • Fixed a crash that occurs when you have Stimm Field and +5s Stimm Duration talent and pick up any street Stimms other than the medical Stimm.
  • Fixed server crash that occurs when a player who places down a Stimm Supply despawns before the Stimm Supply duration ends.
  • Fixed multiple instances of missing translations in the Psykhanium.
  • Fixed an issue with a Penance description mentioning melee attacks instead of critical strikes.
  • Fixed multiple instances of missing translations in the Hive Scum’s talent tree.
  • Fixed an issue with loadouts being unequipped after a Personality Scourge.

Cosmetic bug fixes

  • Fixed some visual issues with implants on the Hive Scum ā€œCartel Casualā€ cosmetic upper body when using specific body types.
  • Fixed an issue with unnaturally smooth skin around implants on the premium store upper body for Hive Scum.
  • Fixed a minor clipping issue on two faces for the Hive Scum’s Deluxe Edition headgear cosmetic.
  • Fixed a clipping issue with a specific hair style and face when having the head plate augment equipped.
  • Fixed an issue with skin around implants not transitioning smoothly from the rest of the body.

somehow i just struggle to understand this, i’ve just put in order all my characters and talents like 20 minutes ago, i hope i won’t have to redo that

i guess i’ll need to log in and find out

when can we expect a fix to power weapons’ sfx on hitting enemies?

I think this caused another description bug

Any news on the backend error? The technical thread hasn’t been updated and is just a chain of 2 dozen bug reports by users who can’t even play the game.

Can the event also say it has other modifiers, like cranial corruption?

Am I misunderstanding something or does this not actually fix anything then?

Or are people who didn’t log in yet lucky and have their builds still?

Is this supposed to protect against future wipes?

Unlike other talent tree resets, this one was a result of a bug, rather than changes to the tree layout.

The wipes happened on the moment you logged in after the update. We fixed the bug that caused it this time, so this prevents players who haven’t logged in yet from losing their talent tree.

After the hotfix one of my talent trees was gone again, but more importantly, whatever was causing the game to ignore modifications to talent trees is there again. I’m not sure what it is but it’s very annoying having to double check that the modification is in, only to realize that the game will revert that on its own accord

Any word on when we’ll see more operator slots added (or preferably the limit removed entirely)?

I wanna play hive scum but I dont wanna erase any of my characters.

haha, so those who wanted to wanted to play scum right on the first day got wiped, and those who didn’t care much got away. ok, time for practicing doing builds :nerd_face:

Under my understand, in my case before this fix my arbites characted had all the builds empties.
If you didnt deleted those empty builds you will have it again after this patch.
But if you deleted those build the patch will not recovery them again.

To add on this, as per my experience: Those builds which were opened after the no man’s land update but before the hotfix were gone, but those that were not opened were there ā€œstillā€.

As in, before the hotfix: I log on my ogryn, opened build X, and then did not open build Y.

after the hotfix: build X remains still reset, however build Y is as it was before the no man’s land update.

The mechanism seems to have been that after No man’s land, the talent trees were all there, but opening a build removed all talent selection.

Hope this clarifies things for people.

What about the Backend Errors? Dozens of players can’t play the game since No Man’s Land update.

No updates on the backend error at the moment, but it’s being looked into!

Made a thread for it elsewhere, but figured I’d ask about it here as well since Quickpaw or whoever may see it sooner, but at present the Stimm Supply ability, when used with a stimm, does not activate Chemical Dependency. Just wanted to know if this was intentional or not? It seems a bit counter-synergistic to where you have to stimm, then use an unbuffed Stimm supply, if you want to use the keystone, which kinda removes a lot of its appeal for taking that keystone and stuff.

Just wanted to find out if that was intentional or if it’s bugged and is supposed to activate the keystone in that side of the tree.

The corruption healing ability is bugged for hive scum stim pack and does not work.

PLEASE change the colors on the Cartels Pride torso for the Tread Lightlies from Purple to Blue!!
