Please buff the original 1h chainsword as you did with the eviscerator. It’s pretty useless right now.
This is the proper way to deal with power creeps. If one thing is powerful, make everything else powerful too including the enemies. I’m sure people will welcome harder enemies because they always complain that they are “too easy” right now anyway.
Truth be told, their builds are just jank. A good build will steamroll as any class.
Balancing in a PvE game should be revolved around bringing everything else up to speed, not nerfing it. This isn’t a PvP game, nerfs should not exist at all.
I have the feeling this one killed FSR4, I’m verifying the files right now… But seems like it crashes directly after the inquistioral Clearance when FSR4 is active.
“all buffs no nerfs” crowd is ridiculous in their ignorance
If stuff is overpowered, there is no need for COOPERATION anymore in a COOP game
Is that so hard to understand?
This truly baffles me
Is anyone else having a hard time downloading this update? I can download other things from steam no problem, but this is is going to 0 network speed.
There’s no need to nerf things in a game that doesn’t have PvP, is that really that hard to understand?
That is why you increase the difficulty all the way around on enemies. It’s not hard to grasp.
Depends what fatshark can and can’t do
And yeah, Darktide wasn’t a Serious Sam game before all that power creep.
I agree, if they beefed up difficulty I wouldnt be annoyed by crutch Arbites/Ogryns
They tried beefing up the difficulty with Havoc. While I enjoy the game mode, it also mitigated 90% of possible builds due to… reasons
In normal game mode however some stuff is so powercrept, a single ogryn or arbites that is actually not a noob and using the class to play aUrIc sO diFfiCulT mode trivialises everything
So yes
nerf op stuff to the ground so that normal game mode is somewhat of a challenge again
grasp
grasp
Same.
What is the problem here? I thought my dog was applying bleed properly with that talent node. Is that not the case?
Where’s the fix for private lobbies requiring 2 or more players? That bug has been in the game for over 2 years now!
Idk about bug or unintended issue, but the infinite cleave bleed on razor-jaw augment is a tad bit too OP imo.
You could get your dog to wipe a horde of Elites with just 1-2 pounces as long as they’re bunch up together, the bleed dots also get buff by talents I think.
Yep, it did…
They fixed the bolter/pistol interaction, though. I hadn’t heard of anything else being busted (good or bad) about dog bleed, so I’m wondering what gpk is saying.
It’s the same as the Ogryn bleed talent, things that die to bleed doesn’t count as the ogryn’s kill.
Yeah, they should buff every ult in the game to where when you activate your ult, every enemy on the map dies instantly. It’s a PVE game, who cares
So the only thing “wrong” with dog bleed now is that it doesn’t count kills properly?
I can live with that.
It’s easy to understand just blatantly wrong.
This isn’t a real solution, there are realistic caps on what you can do to make the enemies more dangerous. We’re already at comical, PC melting levels of enemy spam to counter player power. Increasing enemy health while increasing most weapons’ damage is the same end result but more work than simply bringing down the damage output of a few builds so on and so forth.
“Just buff enemies and never nerf players” is a naive and ultimately unhelpful approach.
