Hotfix #25 (1.2.11)

That was kind of my point. The hotfix is miniscule and does not include numerous super easy fixes that they should be able to vomit out in 20 minutes or less.

Surge never hit heads with the lightning secondary until they changed the targeting with patch 15.
It’s still in the damage breakdown because they just fit it into a general template instead of leaving them out.

And the enemy armour modifiers are screwy with the surge too. It also seems flak and carapace damage was reduced? I swear it used to do more pre patch 13.

The quote is more on gore effects themselves and isn’t worded in “the target prioritization needs to be rolled back”, hence I don’t see how it’s not what is being talked about.

While I agree RNG in damage target sucks, if it kills current iteration of sucky microSurge, I’m all for it.

They already fixed the EP bug. They didn’t need the surge staff to randomly target limbs to do 50% less damage 2/3 times.

I think another weird thing was how it doesn’t say the increased crit when swapping to ranged with Weapon Specialisation is only for the first shot. I think that’s some pretty important info.

So, like the previous glitch with empowered psionics tied because you added purple effect from smite. NOW you made another cosmetic move that aslo afftect the damage ??? You silly never learn xdddddey

Yeah that feels like less of a bug and more sloppy talent descriptions (though definitely an especially egregious case).

Oh no, I just dislike current single target Surge staff iteration. I lost my CC/Flak deleter for this crap version and THEN they make it liquify the enemies making it a pretend shock weapon, so any steps to reduce its usability is a win in my book and totally biased.

Please, most are too scrub to properly use Trauma anyways.

Oh right, yes, nerfing it to only jump to one enemy and changing flak/carapace damage are also changes I dislike.

will you guys talk about the crucius hammer nerf to monstrosities? went from two hit a Daemonhost to “im lucky if i can do a third hit before he kills me” with not even half of his hp gone!

if its nerf it would be a good think since this monstrosities dmg are just so dumb, but it should be in the patch not, and maybe give a Qol on it for compensate since the weapon is not easy to use

It already copped a fat L from the elite HP increases it really doesn’t need its one remaining niche carved up too.

My class feels boring, the cosmetics system in this game sucks, overly priced, low quality, predatory rotation. Total lack of respect for the customer.

Just so you know, I would have bought it, if you’d stayed cool about cosmetics like you were in Vermntide 2.

There were changes with the ping system too. What happened to the ping system? Every time I hit the ping button it gives me a “look there” pin, which really hurts when you’re trying to ping a trapper in the crowd and keep pinging everyone behind it. Before this patch I had agency to choose when I used the “look there” pin. Now I don’t.

The crit chance on first shot only is an acknowledged bug, so I don’t think it’s a case of “You left out this important info”, but a case of “It’s broken”

Double tap lets you do a quick “Go there” ping, but can be disabled in Settings > Input (so I’ve been told, but I haven’t done it yet)

You can change ping settings in the Input Options → Tagging Wheel → Double tap tag → set it to none to keep the old behaviour. Why this change isn’t in the notes ¯\(ツ)

There’s really no way to tell if that acknowledged means it isn’t working as intended or it just isn’t described right. Honestly +33% per stack makes basically no sense is it’s meant to apply to all shots for those 5 seconds.

Anyway what I really wanted to post in this thread is HOW HAVE YOU NOT FIXED EXHILARATING ALREADY COME ONNNN. Also exe stance not working with weapon specialist is an insane oversight that should have been fixed ASAP.
