Havoc/Operative Selection Menu bug on PS5

After every Havoc mission (completed and failed) when I load back into the Mourningstar other players in my group tells the game says I’m in the Operative Selection Menu when I’m not. I am walking around Mourningstar like normal. They also said that my profile has no portrait beside my name. Everything is normal on my end. Due to this it won’t let the host start another mission as it says someone is ineligible (me). Restarting the game seems to fix it for the next mission then afterwards it happens again. Basically this means I have to restart my game after every mission completed or failed and is very annoying as some groups don’t wait for me to rejoin and replace me. This has been happening since the ogryn rework update and only seems to be occurring when playing havoc and using the party finder. Non-havoc missions such as auric maelstrom are not having this issue. This also seems to be a ps5 specific bug as I have seen someone else mention it in the ps5 chat in Darktide’s Discord server.

Steps to Reproduce (Required):

  1. On ps5 join a havoc group using the party finder.

  2. Play the mission.

  3. Whether the mission was completed or failed, when you load back into the Mourningstar it will tell the other members of your group that you are in operative select menu and it won’t let them start the next mission even though everything seems normal on your end.

So it turns out that this bug happens with every mission, not just havoc ones. Seems to be an issue with groups or the party finder and is happening to everyone on PS5. Leaving and rejoining the group and going back to the main menu doesn’t fix it. Seems the only way to properly fix it is to completely restart the game which means playing in a pre-made group of one or more other players means I have to restart my game after every mission whether said mission is completed or failed. I’ve seen numerous other posts of people encountering this same bug and they all are on PS5 or saying it’s happening to their PS5 friends.

Me and my friends are also having this problem. 2 of us play on steam and 2 on playstation. after every mission they have to close the game entirely and restart.
It was working fine 2-3 weeks ago
