I was waiting in the lobby and my game was paused. I was tabbed out and doing something else on my computer when my chat window opened and a message began being typed.
The message “bad skin” was typed and then sent to the Morningstar channel, and another message was started being typed. They got as far as “Im…” before I quit the game using the normal quit game button in the pause menu.
I did not type these messages, I can only assume some hacker was being rude, but this could’ve been abused much worse.
I have no idea how they did this, all I can say is I did not type that message, and it was being typed into my chat box as if I did.
If this ever happens again I’ll try to record a video, but I imagine this will be nearly impossible to replicate.
I think my console log registered these at timestamp “03:48:57.459” though it doesn’t look like there’s anything else useful in there.
