Gunners and riflemen 100% aimbot accuracy

This thing should be changed in my opinion, doesn’t make any sense for the enemy to have this much aimbot.

They need to add more cover options like boxes, so people can zig zag to close the distance. Sometimes in game updates I do notice they add more cover in existing maps every now and then.

Enemy range suppression on an Ogryn should be reduced due to his greater mass. The effect seems to be equivalent with human size classes.

You can dodge or slide and you’ll not get touched so it’s a good game mechanic that you just have to learn. I wouldn’t be against them changing it though

stop rushing them, man, moving towards them will only go badly for you. flank them or let someone else deal with them. their counterplay is they can only target one person at a time.

I mean there’s even a blessing nowadays for people who do want to just sprint straight at them unpunished. Heck combined with duck n dive on Vet you can have infinite stamina while running straight at them to boot.

Hell vet has suppression immunity. If your team is pinned down you can just slam the shout or exec stance, pull out a decent ranged weapon, and headshot most of them quickly.

I rush at them all the time without issue.

I’m not arguing for or against the OP but just gotta say that sometimes (hell, most the times in DT) shooters are in places that flanking is totally physically impossible. Maps are generally very linear and have heaps of choke points. Ain’t no flanking happening there.

Sure if you give them damage back. Otherwise no, shooters are already most of the time trivial compared to what they used to be.

I wouldn’t be against giving shooters some kind of hit chance. Could tweak it til it finds the sweet spot. A percentage chance that they miss or something.

Idk, balance is a tricky thing. But its a fair point, 100% accurate AI can feel a bit weird.

it ain’t 100 accurate. it’s got a cone of fire, at range you notice that pretty obviously. if you’re at point blank range but still outside of melee they can just hose you but why would you hover there…

Wether or not it makes sense is 100% a balance question. You’re basically asking for shooters and gunners to get nerfed even more which would make the game even easier, no thanks.

The point of them having good accuracy is that you have to dodge to avoid taking damage. You dodge them by dodging, sliding and sprinting with stamina at an angle. This is the game mechanic that makes them NOT have a 100% hitrate, use it
