Grimor Goes Missing Bug

Explain what happen:
So while I was playing with other ppl which I done quick match again, as again I was doing my busniess and this pox killed my fellow player which he was carrying the Grimor book and I didn’t noticed he had died with it until I heal up and realized we were pose to have 2 grimor books which I ask “what happen our grimor books?” the 2 guys said “eh?” to sum it down and we ask our dead buddy where did he died at and he said the pox took him out and we went and search everywhere for that grimor book. As slowly we couldn’t find it because I know the Grimor book don’t despawn and they glow green for we spent good 15-30 mins and couldn’t find it so I believed either it fell though the floor or got stuck somewhere for God who knows where it is at.

Are we talking Grimoires here? Those are lost when the holder dies, there’s no getting them back.

First of all, this is about Darktide.
“Pox” enemies, green glow, wrong game.

Second, Scriptures (Tomes) are dropped on death, but Grimoires disappear. Someone dying with a grim means it is lost, this is not a bug.

but the last time we had grimoires didn’t disappeared in the beta. Did I didn’t read proof the dev’s update about the grimoires?

Are you sure it wasn’t a scripture ?
Grims have always disappeared, and that is true since Vermintide.

But, there are “pox” enemies, like the Poxburster or Poxwalker and the grims do glow green. It is lost on death tho so that’s right

If you lose a grim that was picked up, you lose it permanently, as ppl already mentioned.
There are two ways, that I know of, how this can happen:

  1. by death of player that carried it - death&capture not just downing a player.
  2. you can select it from your inventory like granades and “dispell/dissolve” it manually - somehting you may want to do if you see your corruption is too high for your team to handle, but more often than not happens by accident when ppl try to swap wpns/items :confused:

If there are any other ways to lose/get rid of a grim, please add to that.
