At the risk of sounding stupidly optimistic: Daemons?

EDIT: Whoops, got ninja’d by the announcement channel.

Yeah, he’s a little stiff. Especially as he “dives” to cover.

Bad valve in his rebreather maybe? It’s no joke. I had a bad valve in an EAB once and it damn near killed me during a drillset. I didn’t realize how hard it was to breathe until I was already passing out and could only fumble at the straps. They had to pull it off me after I collapsed. This dude is probably right on the edge of brain oxygen levels.

I mean, that is what I looked like doing the Marksman’s penance on vet.

Haha, this one reminded me of an old joke:

  • Daddy, daddy! I want to see elefans running again!
  • But the elephants are tired Honey.
  • I WANT TO SEE ELEFANS RUNNING AGAIN!
  • Ok, Honeybun… Company! Masks on! Double march!

PS: I’m glad you’re ok now. I’m not gonna be complete Melk.

He could also be under immense psychic or warp presence. @Dagless

Lore assumptions aside, the animation for running is a bit weak. I sure they could of showed off a slide, dodging lasfire, or have him get lucky and trip.

The larger “non-standard” character animations (i.e. ones that aren’t used in-game) in the narrative trailers have always been on the awkward side.

One of the early trailers showed him kneeling to the Admonition. I always kinda figured that meant they were subordinate, at least in Nurgle’s hierarchy. I suppose the strains of the war and the setbacks they have faced could have them rethinking things a bit. If they do pull back to a more “generic chaos” stance, that might allow for allies from other Ruinous Powers to show up, I suppose.

I’m just a little bummed there’s no confirmation of daemons. If it’s just a rehash of Convocation of Decay where we stop the daemon summoning before it finishes, well, that’s good and desirable and all, I guess, definitely the target outcome and all that but perhaps just a bit boring. Having it end with a beefy plague bearer or plague toad (or a weak-ish herald) would be a fun fight.

Fun for the daemon, most likely

at the start the cult and the 6th have very closely aligned goals, but it’s getting more clear that the cult isn’t interested in “liberation” of the hive’s people and mostly wants to wreck everything so more people get infected and die for nurgle, which is the very thing wolfer turned on the imperium out of disgust of.

finding some of his former officers turning on him thanks to the cult’s…healing is probably going to make for some interesting politial matters for the atoman war.

I’m a bit confused. What are they supposed to add? Missions? Weapons? A new boss?

This looks amazing! Can’t wait!

first thing that came to mind after seeing the trailer is fatshark making a parody about the average public experience.

wouldnt have to look long in my recent recordings to find exactly that “movement” ingame… and not from an npc :face_with_spiral_eyes:
