Nice, we’re getting at least one boss fight next update.
Probably! I remember that one time a boss sent me there flying and it has pathing for enemies. They fall into the main area from that broken bridge.
Love the french part of the title ![]()
You can also jump down there pretty easily unless they patched it. Basically, there are usually barrels that spawn right against the fence and you can hop on the barrels then over the fence. It has the pathing and spawns for enemies, like you said
I don’t know if I agree with this specific segment, citing the Orthus Offensive. Explicator Zola claims that she “needs to know” something regarding Captain Wolfer just before Interrogator Rannick cuts her Vox. Captain Wolfer obviously still means SOMETHING to her if she was driven to risk fielding an unapproved mission for no other purpose than to get information about him.
But she has been in front of Wolfer, she might not have recognised him at the time (Which make me think that Wolfer isn’t part of his real name).
But Wolfer would, and it would mean he has a great poker face.![]()
We gathered at the time of Traitor Curse that she knew there was a link between the 2, but I don’t think she knew they were the same.
I think that it means something along the lines of “But what is it”?
Please correct me if I’m wrong because my French is atrocious.
It is
I think it’d pass muster if his face has been totally ravaged by the pox or something like that so he’s beyond recognition.
If that’s how he was beforehand, then he must have had a really nice personality. Or big … arms.
“grim tidings”
makes me think a christmas event
she might not have recognised him at the time
But Wolfer would, and it would mean he has a great poker face.
Wait. What are we doing here?
Just replying to each other and quoting ourselves? ![]()
Just that you were replying to points that I had already said.
It’s likely that she wouldn’t have recognised him.
But he would.
Goddamn why does he get to have a biceps but my vet/zealot doesn’t?
If your name was Sue Biron Sheldon Wolfer, you’d have big, uh, biceps too.
Or become a Nurgle worshipper and become swole.
She also has some of her memories psychically sealed away. So it is little wonder she wouldn’t recognize Wolfer especially given the absence of a nose.
The big question to me is if she knew him from before, in the Torrent, or if she was part of the Nox Alpha campaign. Possibly even a lieutenant or support officer for the 6th itself (she doesn’t seem the enlisted sort). There was a theory going around that she might have been a rescued and mind-wiped Captain Helmag, since we know she was a woman, but if her initials were always OZ then that’s unlikely now. Now that we know Morrow (or at least a Morrow) was on Nox Alpha before it all went to poop, it’s perfectly possible that Grendyl snagged up some of the survivors.
I really have to wonder what was so terrible in her mind that they felt she would be a more effective servant of the Inquisition with a gaping hole in her memory and a burning need to fill it? Obviously, chaos shenanigans are the first thing to come to mind but what? Was she a traitor too? Or just witness to the unmentionable?
I was agreeing and proposing how it could happen.
Though honestly, I don’t really even remember most of the zola comms. I’m not into the lore, there’s no in game story as such, and I’ve just not really engaged with it for the most part.
we know this, she went from living in the torrent dircetly to being recruited by grendyl and has never served in the guard. it’s one of the things she brings up when you run missions in the area- well, one of the PCs brings it up and she tells them something about it to shut them up.
That is what she claims. Considering her altered memories it is almost certainly not true.
they’ve got no reason to erase her memories of a campaign she couldn’t have been on because she was hired on-world for her local knowledge. it doesn’t fit the timeline, grendyl’s interests, or the narrative for her to be in the guard. trying to fit zola into the 6th is way more convoluted an effort to begin to justify than what we have info on now.
it’s MUCH more likely that zola thought wolfer had died on deployment and finding him leading the traitors after her lifetime of trying to escape hardship landing her a fairly cushy job in the inquisition was in impressively cruel twist and she’s not preoccupied with why.
