Getting an error in shader_cache builder process

Issue Type (Required):

Other

Issue Description (Required):

when i start the game and the shader cache is being built , it goes to 100% and then throws an error( it does still start the game though , its playable too).
error code is 0x1, and the game is playable but i did notice a very obvious drop in performance and i think it’s introducing pretty severe graphical stuttering too.
i’ve verified files on both steam and through the launcher and that doesnt seem to solve the problem.

Steps to Reproduce (Required):

Sorry , i have no idea how i could reproduce this and i seem to be the only one having this issue.

none of the solutions in that article managed to solve my problem :open_mouth: @FatsharkJulia

Do you happen to have a 13600K/14600K or higher? If so they’ve been burning themselves out due to a combination of a manufacturing defect and aggressive default voltage. Usually it causes errors during high CPU loads like shader compilation which makes it seem like a graphics issue at first.

Intel has extended their warranty and put out BIOS patches to prevent the effected CPUs from degrading but it can’t save an already defective CPU. They claim it doesn’t effect lower tier or mobile 13th/14th gen CPUs but some people online also claim it’s happening to them if they’re overclocked so don’t count those out either.

Nope , no intel parts whatsoever
